Insight
The need to update email campaigns arose after a School-wide rebranding. Presenting current and authentic snapshots of student life is critical. The goal was to grab the attention of subscribers such as alumni, peer deans and prospective students looking for a peek into happenings at the School. Previous campaigns also lacked a clean sophistication that users might expect from a prestigious B-School.
Using portrait and documentary-style art direction was key to capturing students and faculty experts in action and the campus. With new assets, updated header graphics and layout designs for each department were designed with key audiences in mind. These audiences that affect school rankings are now reached with consistent branding and refreshed snapshots of life at Simon. Email ratings rose in overall rating from 6/10 to 8/10 within the same year according to Simon's Emma email marketing rating scale.
